The last couple of days, when I turn on my comp I have to repeatedly plug and unplug my mouse into different usb ports until it works. I don't know if it's a usb port problem or what. I tried my daughter's usb mouse and it was the same problem. Are the ports needing cleaning, replacing or what? please someone help, getting mad at this comp.

what kind of computer and mice are they? Do you know how to get into the device manager? if so, once you get the mouse working, go into device manager by right clicking my computer (windows vista/7) and the device manager should be on the left, go down the list to the USB ports, right clock them, go to properties, and see if they show any errors. And is just the mice that have these problems, or do other USB devices such as flash drives have problems as well?
