I was just contacted by Altaro, the creators of Oops! Backup, about a new product that is entering beta called Altaro Hyper-V Backup. I personally use their program Oops! Backup and find it to be a quality product. Those who run Hyper-V may want to give their beta a try.

From their website:

Altaro Hyper-V Backup is a powerful Hyper-V Aware backup solution that easily backs up Microsoft Hyper-V VMs. Altaro Hyper-V Backup includes innovative and unique features not found in other Hyper-V backup products.

Altaro Software are looking for BETA testers interested in installing Altaro Hyper-V Backup BETA 1.

To show gratitude we will be giving out 250 Free License Keys to the final version of Altaro Hyper-V Backup.

Altaro Hyper-V Backup BETA 1 Expected Availability : 31 March 2010

So for those who may be interested in beta testing this product on the Hyper-V servers you can go ahead and sign up at this page: http://www.altaro.com/hypervbeta/

Please note that anyone testing the BETA version will be testing a BETA product. This means that the product is at a stage were they think that there are no serious bugs however that is not certain. Only use BETA products on machines that can assume this risk.
