Hi all. I am running Win XP. On a practice dvd I slipstreamsd SP3 and it worked fine.
Now I want to make one adding drivers and some programs.
My question is when using N-Lite, what are the driver files I must add?I have used Driver Max to gather the drivers already on the computer.
They are all in a file "My Drivers" each in a subfolder named for there job, such as
video, media, processor, USB and so on. In each of these folders there is another folder
with the driver files themselves. Following is a very simple but accurate example, as some of them have 8-10 files
My Drivers
DiskDrive
gendisk
_innodesc.xml
disk.inf
disk.sys
storprop.dll
Which part or parts do I include when I "add drivers" in N-Lite?
Thanks for any guidance you can give,
Jerry

Jerry again. The last post did not show as I expected it to.
So here is my attempt to show a screen shot.

I would suspect that...such is entirely up to you.

I use nLite...but I don't slipstream drivers in because I want a disk that will work on any system, not just the one I am working on at the moment...and I want to be able to use it on someone else's system, if the need arises.

Hamluis, Thanks for the quick response.
My need is for only one machine at this time and I intend to slipstream all of it's drivers.
I am not sure which file/files for each driver are needed for input to N-Lite.
Is it only the .inf file or all except the xml file?
Any further instruction would be appreciated.
Thanks again.
Jerry

PS did I post this question to the wrong Forum?
Also how do I highlight as you did?

Is there anyone out there who uses Nlite to slipstream the drivers they need for an install?
I would like to know which of the files ,in the driver file, do I put into Nlite.
An example of what I have, in "My Drivers file" is in the screen shot in my second post above .
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks, Jerry
