I've asked this question on the Apple Community Forums but no replies have been received after a week or so. I'll try here.

When my iPhone is connected to iTunes I used to be able to highlight Podcasts in the iPhone menu on the iTunes menu on the left. I could then select and delete one or more podcasts. For some reason I can no longer do this. I attempt to delete by pressing the delete button and nothing happens. I try to select delete from the drop down edit menu but its grayed out.

Any thoughts on what is wrong?

Thank you for any and all assistance.
