Having trouble connecting to a server

Remote Computer runs XP Pro SP 3
Server runs XP Home

I need to connect to the server in order to work in the shared company files.

Can anyone help? If you need me to find out any network/system info, just let me know how to go about finding it

Thanks

If this is a company system...any issues ought to be reported to the designated IT person/department.

What is/are the error messages received?
