Might I add that it couldn't be my connection since I have 2 connections from 2 different net providers.
I kept switching between both connections and its still the same. I called both providers and they said there's nothing wrong with my connections. So I thought something must be wrong with my system.
And so what I did was, I ran ComboFix and a message popped out indicating that there is rootkit activity in my system.
( I understand that it is best that I do not run any of these programs before explaining my situation thoroughly. )
The reason I ran ComboFix is cause I have had rootkit problems before and I sought help from someone from another forum ( which I will not mention the name of the forum as I am not sure whether will it violate the forum rules or not ) and he helped me to fix my issue using ComboFix.
But too bad this particular person seems to have been inactive in the said forum and so I found my way here.
I did try using Gmer to run a scan but somehow my PC crashes and I get a BSOD. ( That I will post somewhere else later. )
I am indeed not sure about the message from ComboFix, but I hoped that my problem will be attended to.
Please advise on any information that I need to provide as I am not a computer wiz and this problem of mine is one hell of a headache for me right now.
Thx in advance.
