Hi all

I downloaded Microsoft Antispyware, but I can not install it or delete it.

Exactly what do you mean by this? You are trying to download the file or are you trying to uninstall the program through "Add/Remove Programs"?

I get error 1335. The cabinet file 'Datal.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used.

When do you get this error message?

I am running xp home.

Does it have SP1 and/or SP2 installed?

Microsoft Antispyware
is located C:download file.

You mean the downloadedfile?

It is not in add and remove.

That means you have uninstalled a previous version of this program?

First I would do a full scan at: Windows Live Safety Center.

Check your version of Windows for updates at: Microsoft Update.

THen download a fresh version at: Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware. When you get the download windowthen do not "open it from this location" but "save" it to a folder on your hard drive. When it's finished launch Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder where you saved the file. Then double click the file to install.

For more support on Windows AntiSpyware see also the Microsoft news groups. See: AntiSpyware newsgroups.
