I plan on giving my E520 an overhaul (New motherboard, CPU, more RAM, way better GFX card, and a larger power supply) and I'm wondering if the Micro ATX mobo will fit in the standard E520 case... Because if not I'm screwed. Here is the mobo I plan on getting.

Any advice would be of HUGE help.

Here is the exact case I have, for clarification issues.

Thanks for the input, also, I want to make sure everything I'm putting into this thing is all compatible with each other so I don't go spending 575$ on stuff that will conflict with each other. Would you please take a moment and look at all these parts and confirm they are compatible? I would be extremely grateful.

Not even close.

That is a BTX case. The motherboard is an ATX. Expansion ports/slots, backplane won't line up, power supply will not swap.

The best thing I can tell you is to get rid of that E520 case and throw it as far as you can, and get a proper ATX case that suits your needs. I feel bad for people stuck with BTX systems as no one really makes anything compatable for them anymore.

Alright guys, how about this case?

Seems like it will do the job, and I like the LED's anyway.

According to the Antec website, the micro-atx motherboard should fit.

Tyvm for your help. Now, I have 1 more issue, it says on the website a max size for the video card(which I am presuming is the GFX card) will the GFX card I desire to get fit? I don't care if it blocks the extra HDD slot.

[Edit]: Here is the exact website page for your ease of finding.

"Maximum video card size: 12.5"/318mm (Note: some video cards may block access to the adjacent hard drive bay)"

"Card Dimensions 9.96" x 4.37"

It's all there on the Newegg site.
