I have windows xp professional. Every time I exit internet explorer I receive an error message which is as follows:
0x015040dd reference memory at 0x015040dd. The memory could not be "read"
I have loaded sp1 and sp2 for windows xp and loaded the internet explorer pack from the microsoft site for internet explorer sp2. The message still continues to load. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanx

Hi lococomputero and welcome!

So, just to be clear, the error message was appearing before you updated to SP1 and SP2?

Currently home chillin' with the fam and my two dogs!
