Hello All

I'm having difficulty with a TP-link pci card, the TL-WN851N. When I install the card I get the blue screen of death "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP"

I have tried a second card,(amazon) and different pci slots, installing the driver first but no difference.

Further info: my motherboard is a ASUS P5N-MX. I'll attached the dump file.

Update : cant attach file...Its in my dropbox....... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3118896/022511-22011-01.dmp

Windows 7

Thanks
K

Hello and welcome to Bleepingcomputer.

The dump log you provided shows the following error.

ndis.sys -- ndis.sys+2e5d6 -- fffff880`01616000 -- fffff880`01708000 -- 0x000f2000 -- 0x4a5bc184 -- 7/13/2009 3:21:40 PM

NDIS.SYS is related to your NIC adaptor.

I tried to line up the above perameters into columes with their proper headings, but they failed to line up properly on this page.

Below are two links related to your errors.

Your driver is dated 7/13/2009, you may want to see if there is a more updated driver available for this device.

Bruce.
