Hi

Which version of ubuntu are you using and what are the specs of your computer. Are you using a wire or wireless? Start the terminal program and enter ifconfig and iwconfig one at a time and they will return an ip address if it is getting one. ubuntu can be a little fussy with some wireless adapters. I had some fun getting mine set up with 10.4.

Doug
