With what you just stated in your post, you may have poorly seated memory. Try to remove and reinstall your memory. Do the same with your video card.
Let me know if thet helps.

Merry Christmas.

May I ask what the model/make of your display is? What resolution are you running?

I am surprised as heck it will run on a 350 watts PSU >>>> especially if its a generic brand >>> IMO ----I would stop using your video card until you upgrade your PSU >>> hate to see you burn it up

The hot deal now is the Antec SP-500 (500 watts) for around $68.00 you going to be really challenged to find a better quality PSU for less !!!

also download the monitoring utility Sandra lite (free) and check your system temps, cpu temps ssytem voltages after to be sure they are in spec range >>>>> you could post your results in here for further evaluation by some of the techs
http://www.download.com/3000-2086-10018691.html

dotn get lured into the cheap gernic PSU's they are really bum performers >>>> all PC mags are always testing cheaper PSU's hoping to someday be the first to laud the cheap unit that performs well >>>> so far its like waiting for the mesiah LOL

here is a lsiting to give you some ideas

Do you have another video card you can test the system out with? Sustitute the video card if you can. I think your display is probably ok.

Try to remove and reinstall your memory. Do the same with your video card.

Have you tried this?

Don't worry about it anymore, I think that the 9550 just wasn't compatable with my motherboard or it was the PSU. So i upgraded my PSU to 550w and got a nVidia 6600 GT, works like a dream haven't had a problem since, but thx anyway guys.

Merry Christmas
