I've been searching the Internet to find a guide/manual that lists and explains all the IE8 options and security settings. I'm not looking for general IE8 info. I'm looking for detailed info regarding every setting and option, what it does, why I might want to change a setting from a default setting, and what impact that might have. I'm hoping that someone knows of a manual/guide that I can download. (I can't be the only person looking for this type of info.)

Do a Google search for each tab in Internet Options (ie, IE Security Settings, IE Privacy Settings, IE Advanced Settings, etc).

Or switch to the Opera browser where all that is soooo much simpler than in IE8 and safer as well.

Then in IE8 just allow Microsoft update sites so that the MS patches can run.
