I have HP dx7510 PC with Windows XP and Mcafee. I face strange problem. After every 8 to 10 days it gets very very slow for 1 day.
On that particular day, i am unable to work on it, but it gets normal while keeping it on for 10 to 15 hours. In task manager every process is shown as normal.

Please suggest some solution, i am really disappointed with this PC.

1) Check task scheduler. Also check to see if your AV and / or defrag app is scheduled to run automatically.

2) I know you didn't ask, but McAfee is, in my opinion (and the opinion of everyone else I know :) ) next to worthless. I strongly suggest you replace it with literally any other anti virus utility.
