What I got; Dell Dim 4700 P4 2.8 (bios A06) 4GBram Windows 7

What has happened; A week ago I began experiencing redirects to blank page in Firefox (Bing/Google)which could be directed to correct page on refresh. Avast! kept finding the following: "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Disk.Sys" which it could never get rid of, kept asking (and i would run) boot start up scans. But it never was able to quarantine or delete. Then a few days ago, the computer became totally unresponsive. Nothing could be opened, or run. A hard shut down was required each time. Sometimes you can do a few things then it becomes completely unresponsive.

Working in safe mode with networking now

My hope is someone can help me, Thanks for Checking my post!
