Hi, I have a WD Live Plus streaming device that I installed and it works fine for viewing movies and TV. However, when I use it to try and access my computer, it prompts with a pre-populated anonymous login screen. However, I donít know the password. I tried it without any password, but it didnít work. I also tried the password admin, but it didnít work. It does see my computer since I see the computer name (DBORBH51). How can I find out the password to use, or is there a way to disable it or reset it?

Hi -
If there was a password given by you to start your program, this may help -
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/tp/passrecovery.htm
Otherwise you may need to uninstall and reinstall the program, taking care to see if a password is requested at any point -

Thank You -

This is not an admin or user account password that it is looking for though. I have that and actually tried it, but that isn't it. This is a login and password that the WD Live Plus device asks for when trying to access my computer remotely (via a wireless USB). It pre-populates the login portion with anonymous, then asks for the password. In the past from what I have heard, anonymous normally doesn't even require a password. However, I tried it without anything and I still cannot access my computer, or drives. I see my computer's name from the WD Live so I know it can see the computer, but I need to be able to disable this login feature, or find out what login/password to use if any. Thanks
