I am using Win XP Pro with the service packs, etc.

All equipment working fine then black blank spaces apppeared in sections of the IE toolbars. Tried to repair using MS IE repair help pages but then whole program crashed and could not reinstall.

Also use Opera and Google Chrome but need IE for some applications.

Slow start-up has resulted but computer operates OK with other programs and MS Office 2007.

Suggestions for repair please.

1) Can you post a screen shot please?
2) What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?

How do I create a screenshot?, and you can use any photoediting program that you prefer to save the image. Just after doing alt+prnt scr go to edit and paste.

Save the image, and upload it to either http://www.imageshack.us or http://www.photobucket.com
