I have no clue as to what kind of infection I have. My computer is stuck at 4 bit picture quality and 640by480 resoution and my proper resoution is 1028by768. My startup and turn off times for my computer have increased. None of my programs that run in 256 color mode work. When i try to run Maple Story, a box opens saying,"Failed in finding proper screen mode for Gr2D. Ragnarok Online does not even open up. This happened after i uninstalled Kaspersky Personal 5.0 and restarted without activating my other virus guard. before this problem occurred, my computer would sometimes open up mulitple Master Volume boxes(around 20) for no reason.(worm maybe?) It also i had an internet explorer error half the time i closed internet internet explorer. I am unsure as to whether these 2 things still happen as my current problem is recent.Update! The internet explorer error occurs sometime. I have scanned with AntiVir Personal Edition, AVG Free Edition, Kaspersky Antivirus Personal 5.0, Spyware Doctor, Ewido Free, Panda Online Scan, F-Secure Online Scan, ETrust online Scan, Microsoft Antispyware Beta, Spybot Search And Destroy, Bitdefender Online Scan, CounterSpy, Trojan Hunter, Symantec Online Scan Webroot Spyaudit, and Adaware SE Personal. They were all updated. I have the latest version of ZoneAlarm Firewall.(Free). I also have Spyware Blaster. Whatever causes the problem waited until i did not have an activated virus guard. Maybe I have a rootkit since nothing detects it. Trendmicro Housecall does now work since it needs to run in 256 color mode.

Here is my HijackThis log:

Hi IHateAbnormalities and Welcome to the Bleeping Computer!

Im not sure if this problems is going to be Malware related but we will find out as best we can.

Download WinPFind:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/winpfind.php

Right Click the Zip Folder and Select "Extract All"

Don't use it yet

Reboot into SAFE MODE(Tap F8 when restarting)
Here is a link on how to boot into Safe Mode:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen...src=sec_doc_nam

From the WinPFind folder-> Doubleclick WinPFind.exe and Click "Start Scan"

It will scan the entire System, so please be patient

One you see "Scan Complete"-> a log (WinPFind.txt) will be automatically generated in the WinPFind folder

Run MSCONFIG and enable everything in the startup area. To get to MSCONFIG, click on Start -> Run -> type in MSCONFIG -> click OK!

Under the "General" Tab

Make Sure "Normal Startup-load all device drivers and services" has a green tick by it

Click Apply->Close->Follow the Prompts to Restart

Restart Normal and have the PC Scanned here:
Panda Active Scan

You will need to be using Internet Explorer for the Scan to work

Save the Report it generates

Post back with a fresh HijackThis log and the reports from WinPFind and Panda
