Howdy everyone! New member. Home user who gets frustrated with my computers and network from time to time. Have visited this site before for information that has helped a great deal.
I can put em together, install the software/games just fine. Hoping my time here will improve my networking skills. (my HP printer gets lost everytime my network goes down after a power outage for example)
Also interested in virus/malware detection and removal. That is how I first stumbled across this site.
Finally, hoping to learn tuning tips and tweaks to keep my rigs running the best they can for as long as possible. I tend to hang on to gear way past it's time. ( my laptop for example is a 8yo Toshiba Satellite that was given to me by my best friend with a toasted hard drive, $100 for a new, larger then stock replacement and an upgrade to the ram and it is still chugging along. I just cannot let it get far from the ac adaptor. :)

Anyways, Greetings and well met!

Hello and :welcome: to Bleeping Computer.

Be sure to check out the New User Orientation and the excellent Tutorials.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
