Are you referring to svchost.exe as "host process"?

in just 3 months its used over a 1 gig which is to much

Please explain what you mean by this?

I'm guessing that you are looking at Processes in the Task Manager?

I'm also guessing that you are looking at processes that are using high memory usage, and that this is what has you concerned?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

How can you tell that the Host Service is uploading data?

Hi thanks for the replies . i can see host process for windows services using data in my firewall log and in network monitor and in netlimiter . it breaks the usage down into process id's . no svchost does not use high cpu
