Hi, I am running windows XP and IE 7.0. When I close any open window I recieve "IE has encountered a problem and needs to close." It does not give me the opportunity to see any error messages, it simply closes. Today I tried to download IE 8.0 and the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool and recieved the same message. The only step I've taken thus far was to disable all add-ons, which did not help the problem.
Thank you for your time and your help.
