My computer froze & I shut it down manually. When I turn it back on there is no option to run in safe mode, so I choose normal mode (have done this several times), then get the blue screen. The only way I can bypass this is to continually hit F8 so my Windows starts up. My grandson said I may have a trojan horse, how would I know? Is there another way to get into a safe mode? Any advice is greatfully appreciated. Thank you.

Let us see if we can get Safe mode to run.

Please download and run SafeBootKeyRepair.exe.

Once it has completed, please try booting into Safe Mode.
