i'm running a dr web scan in Enhanced Protection Mode. After 1 hour 50 minutes, it has scanned 6533 files (and has been stuck on this number for a while). in the statistics section, the Speed is 212 KB/s. is this normal? i hate to kill it because a Hacktool (vNetProcess.exe) has been found, but i fear the scan is dead in the water.

any suggestions.

okay, i'm up to 8435 files now after three hours, and from looking around the internet, i see that some scans can take over four hours. the scan speed has wavered between 75 and 350 KB/s, but i suppose this is typical. there isn't really any info on vNetProcess.exe that i have been able to dredge up, but dr. web apparently has it in its cross hairs.

A DrWeb scan can take a long time ... much longer than 4 hours in some cases, so be patient and let it finish without interruption.
