Alright, so I had a number of viruses and spyware on my computer. I deleted it using Norton Antivirus 2005, and Microsoft Antispyware. Now, my computer works fine again, but my dektop background has a message that says "System Infected" and leaves me a message about spyware. When I try and click a picture and tell his to set as the background, it doesn't work. When I click the properties menu on the desktop, the only commands I have are the screen saver, and the settings. Someone please help me! Thanks.

Hi

Probably there are some leftovers left from desktophijackers like smitfraud edc.. (fake message to trick you to download a rogue anti-spyware program)
There a tool to fix this, but first create and post a HJTlogfile, an expert will guide you there :flowers:

First read this topic and follow all instructions
Then, post the HJTlogfile here
and mention your problem

Good luck :trumpet:
