Hello everyone
My name is Tim Shaw and I work with industrial automation and control systems. I am involved in their cyber security and these days, what with the stuxnet worm, everyone is terrified about getting a serious infection that lets a bad guy manipulate their control system. Lots of these systems are 'old' (10, 15 and even 20 years old) and they incorporate computers and operating systems that are now considered as historical oddities (like VAX/VMS and DOS and Windows 95 and SUN Solaris.) Of course many are new and thus much more subject to current malware threats. I am interested in sharing ideas and knowledge with people who have experience with maintaining and supporting such systems. Particularly in their experience with malware detection and removal procedures. I look forward to sharing thoughts and ideas.
