I am unable to connect to windows update in any form. I have tried using the Windows Update program and the microsoft update website. When i use the Windows Update program, it detects that there are updates to be installed, but when i try to download them it never connects. I have left the laptop on overnight to see if it was just a slow or lagging connection, but when i awoke in the morning it was still at 0%. The microsoft update website pulls up as internet explorer cannot display webpage. I have put all of the windows addresses as trusted zones, and I have tried disabling my virus scanner, i have run trend micro HijackThis and Housecall, spybot search and destroy, and Mcafee's virus scanner (not that i expected anything productive out of that last one). My windows copy is legit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
