Hi all
I'm a newbie here and to date have managed to fix the problems that come my way with basic help. I got the 'Express Post' email and foolishly opened it thinking there was a chance of it being genuine and imagining I could handle it if it wasn't. I seem to have got rid of the 'Palladium' rubbish that came with it thank to tips on the web, but this Trojan is the worst that I have ever encountered. I used AVG fully updated and also Malwarebytes bang up to date. What is their record on producing something to squash something like this nasty Trojan please? Could I be waiting till next Christmas? I'm wary of going into the register and am thinking of ditching the desktop computer until an easy solution comes along. I don't want to wipe the computer and reinstall.
I have Windows XP and use AOL. I seem currently blocked from using Internet Explorer without using AOL.
I get the Trojan Horse warnings every 10 minutes or so. I've removed cookies and switched off System Restore as I thought it could be hiding there. Or is it a fake warning?

Hello,

Please turn system restore BACK ON if you haven't already done so.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
