My Firewall Is Disabled Any Ideas?

Yes well i dont know why it has stopped workin but i have gone to the services in the control pannel and tried to restart the service that makes it run and every time i try and start it it says the dependancy bla bla bla error 1068 i have tried going to run and checking all windows files by typing sfc /scannow and that didn't seem to work any ideas.

The windows inbuilt firewall is pretty useless. I'd recommend you install the free version of Zone Alarm.

I agree with Floydoid, the windows firewall is no good. I use Zonealarm and it works really well, as long as it is setup correctly.

Kerio Personal Firewall(Reported not to be offered after 12-31-2005)

Have you added another firewall on your computer by chance? Usually they will disable the Windows firewall as running two firewalls will create conflicts.

Currently home chillin' with the fam and my two dogs!
