I have Windows VISTA. on startup when the computer boots up, a blank screen appears and my documents also opens up. no wallpaper and no explorer.exe. So i use the ctrl+alt+del-task manager-new task-explorer.exe method to startup.
please suggest me ways to get rid of this problem.

What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?
