The details of my hotmail problems:

Everytime I signed into my email (any account) a few days ago I was brought to the blank new email template with an @comcast.net address already in the contact lists bar.

After a couple of days I was redirected to my account information page when I signed in.

I tried to change my hotmail passwords but I can only do up to a medium strength password (never strong).

This all started when I tried to email the comcast address through a link on a webpage.

Now my 2 questions:

Do I have a virus or is there some other issue that has my hotmail acting all screwy?

Wasn't there some issue with emailing a comcast account with a hotmail account?
