I have a computer (windows xp) with a wired internet connection that is connected to a wireless router (Motorola VT2542, for use with Vonage telephone service) and I'm looking to create a home network that includes both wired and wireless sources. I can connect devices via wireless, but I can't seem to make them talk to my computer.

What I'm looking to do specifically is to connect my smart phone to my computer to synch files over wifi, use itunes remotely etc.
