Hi Thrillhouse
Some times it runs for a min or 2.
Since I posted I noticed that the although the screen wasnt lit up the system was running in the background
when it had run for about half an hour it stated window like it should.
But then after about 15 min it clicked ans went off.
Tonight it wouldnt start at all.

can you get to the bios screen? It's usually f9 or one of the f keys. There should be a menu option to test the hard drive, I would start there. Have you seen any error messages on it?
