HI, i have downloaded combo fix from another computer that is not infected, copied the exe from thumb drive to Visat desktop. To my knowledge i have no antivirus software running. I am gettin all kinds of antivirus messages from antivirus.net tryig to sell me software and no other internet sites will work. I cannot remove programs, when i try to run combofix.exe it will not run because the phony av software tells me it is infected. Any suggestions or directions will help.

I would reccomend NOT running Combofix.exe until you are instructed to do so by an official helper.
(otherwise they may not help you, if ya screw something up)
That being said, whatever you try will work better from safe mode. (and running as an alias)
You may have to fix your .exe file associations too.

Hello as stated "ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use."

Have you tried using our Removal Guide here Remove Antivirus .NET (Uninstall Guide) .
You will move to the Automated Removal Instructions

After you completed that, post your scan log here, let me know how things are.
The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply. Be sure to post the complete log to include the top portion which shows MBAM's database version and your operating system.
