I keep trying to update my Adobe....but I ALWAYS get this message:

Error 1402 Could not open key

HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Microssoft/Windows/Current Version/Run/Optional Components/IMAIL

Verify that you have sufficient access to that key,or contact your support personnel.

It tells me to QUIT Messenger....I dont have any messengers in use.

Im not very computer savvy anyway.

I appreciate any help I can get.

Thank you in advance.

Could you supply a little more information regarding which operating system you are using (Win XP, Vista, Win7 etc) and which Adobe program you are attempting to update?

WinXP Pro sp3 \ Firefox, Panda, MBAM, SAS, SpywareBlaster

Since your problem seems to be with Flash, uninstall Flash using the uninstall tool at the link below and then install a fresh copy. Maybe that will work.
