Connecting to World of Warcraft

Hey Guys
Really not very good with compueters but a bit of a WoW fan. Im at University now and I was just wondering if you had any tips for helping me connect? Ive got a cable or I can use wireless but WoW just says connecting when i try and log in. Sorry for the vagueness

Your University probably has the connection blocked, try using a proxy or play at home. If not, check /World of Warcraft/Data/enUS or enGB, locate realmlist.wtf, open it up in note pad and make sure it's connected to blizzard and not a private server.
