Just got to wondering if DSTM is doing OK, I know he lives down under and they are getting slammed with flooding and typhoons.
Anybody heard from him? Or anybody else that lives down there? Hopefully they're OK and just unable to get online. :snorkle:

DSTM is doing OK.
I see him online most days at other forums and spoke to him a couple of days ago.
He's complaining about the weather in his part of Australia as it's been a constant 40 degrees for the last week or so. Posted Image

Maybe this may help update things in Australia for folks that care?

Devastating Cyclone Yasi has sparked the biggest domestic deployment of defence force personnel in more than 30 years.

Prime Minister Julia Gillard on Friday said all 4000 troops based in Townsville would aid north Queensland's recovery after the monster category five storm.

One man has died and two people are missing after Yasi smashed across the north Queensland coast at Mission Beach about midnight on Wednesday.

The weather all over Australia has gone crazy. We are havibg Floods, Bush Fires, Cyclones, extreme Temperature shifts, (up to four Seasons in the one day), but we are just hanging in there and working together to overcome problems as they occur.

I too speak to Doug daily and apart from ongoing health problems which afflict all us oldies, he is doing fine and appreciates your concern.

Cheers

Good to know Dougs doing alright. Well, minus the getting old stuff, it happens to us all eventually if we're lucky enough.

"Getting old" isn't a problem! In fact, I hope he keeps on "getting old" for a very long time to come! :thumbup2:

Good luck to all you folks dealing with the extreme weather!

Hi Guys. Thanks for the Concern as to my whereabouts, Wildabeast.

Nice to know someone cares.

I haven't been as visable lately due to a number of reasons, but hope to spend more time here now.

Yes,Mother Nature hasn't been very kind to us here in OZ, lately.

Our Northern State lost lives from the Floods recently, and now being hammered by a cyclone.

Down south in Victoria they are experiencing Floods as well.

Here in Sydney where I live we are experiencing a record heat wave.

Today was 42.2c at Sydney Airport. 6 Days of this heatwave so far.

Dougie. :)

I think you have sent the weather over my way Doug. I am 1000 miles closer to the South Pole and it is 41.7C in the tent at the moment, LOL.

Making it very difficult to watch Season 4 of the Big Bang Theory.
