I downloaded all of my desktop icons dto my thumb ddrive.Now with the new compjuter, I downloaded the new Microsoft Offie Professional 2010. Previouisly I was told by Best Buy
that when I downloaded the new Microsoft Office Professional 2010, the word documents, that I had on my desktoop would just automatically go into the new office 2010
That did not happen so now I have many wored documentsw that I cannodt open.... When I click the icon on my desktop now.... a box opens with a heading of : File Download.............
Inside the box it asks: Do you want to open or save this file?
Below that is the following:
Name: Which is the name of the document
Type: Doc_auto-file, 78.0 KB (this last number will vary depending on the document)
Then at the bottom of the box.... three options: Open.............Save..............Cancel
I want,of course, that each of my word documents/publisher documents, etc that I now have on my new desktop be opened in the new version of Microsoft Office 2010.
