Ok guys, I'm new here and I need some help. I was recently attacked by viruses and I was able to clean all of them and repair everything except everytime I run a Yahoo Anti-Spy scan, CWS.HomeSearch still comes up. It doesn't show up when I do a Norton scan or when I do a Microsoft Anti-Spy scan. I have also lost my active desktop. My wallpapers don't show up and I can't change anything in the display properties. When I right click a picture and click to set as desktop, it doesn't stick. Anybody have any ideas for me? I'm thinking about reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling the OS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
