Hello everyone,

I just started on this thing with the advice from my friend Eli. Technology hasn't been my best friend recently and between my laptop deciding to not work all of a sudden, to my dads computer picking up some "antivirus" thing i have no clue how, I needed help! If that weren't enough my printer at work always breaks too so Eli usually has a lot to keep him busy between his actual job in the MIS office and helping his poor technology hated friend, me :thumbup2: He has given me tips and taught me quite a bit so some things I've learned to do myself now which is good, but this time I cant get it and he's running out of help as well...Hope I can get it solved through bleeping computer!

There are over 150 unanswered topics in this forum at present and the current average wait time to receive help is 6 days. Our malware removal staff is comprised of team members with various levels of skill and expertise to deal with thousands of malware variants, some more complex than others. Although we try to take DDS/HJT logs in order (starting with the oldest), it is often the skill level of the particular helper and sometimes the operating system that dictates which logs get selected first. Some infections are more complicated than others and require a higher skill level to remove. Without that skill level attempted removal could result in disastrous results. In other instances, the helper may not be familiar with the operating system that you are using, since they use another. In either case, neither of us want someone to assist you who is not familiar with your issue and attempt to fix it.
