Manufacturer and model of modem?

What problems have you had thus far?

Exact error message...and when, please?

Appears to me, if you have Windows installed...you have no worries :).

Long time since I heard about a "TAPI" problem (WIN ME days).

In addition to the above questions, what version of Windows, what drivers are you using, are you sure the driver package is correct for the OS?

Louis thanks for the reply.

Manufacturer and model of modem? I am going to buy a new one now, but I have a usb Hiro h50113 now.

What problems have you had thus far? IVM Software will not reconize the modem. http://www.nch.com.au/kb/10045.html

Exact error message...and when, please? There is no error, it wont see it. According to the link above it is because of tapi.

I am running XP Home.

Its been a long time since I have heard of a TAPI issue as well.

Here is a Microsoft Technet forum that says that the drivers out of the box do not work.
Try the ones from Hiro here
Make sure to uninstall the old drivers first.
In the beginning there was the command line.
