Having had a membership to this very valuable resource for some time, and been assisted with virus removal in the past,i posted a topic for help regarding strange rasping noises coming through the speakers. I had once again been given fantastic advice as to what it was and how to cure it. All done. All good. However when i went to login a couple of days later to thank the person for the help given i couldn't login due to the site being upgraded. I gave it a couple of days and tried again and this time it wouldn't recognise my username and password. I even tried copying/pasting from the confirmation email send by Bleeping Computer when i set up my account. I have tried re-entering my details to no avail and now have had to create a new Hotmail account, along with all the associated messing about attached to that exercise, so that i could get a new email address to put into Bleeping Computer Registration and enable the validation to go there so that i can again use this site. Is it possible for me to reclaim my original Username/Avatar etc.
Any ideas as to the causes of the problems that i had would be appreciated.

Hi JustMercury4 and welcome back to BC. :)

You'll need to PM an Administrator to reclaim your original account.

Hope that helps.
