About two days ago my desktop began displaying the blue screen upon login and then instant restart. Tried to log back in, blue screen and restart again. I was not able to access safe mode as it did the exact same thing. I tried startup repair, memory diagnostics tool, system recovery, nothing worked. So i restored my drive and lost everything (unfortunately) only to find once i got to "set up is preparing your computer for first use" an error message saying something along the lines of "the installation has unexpectedly restarted, please restart to install windows", no blue screen. I've used a recovery disc to no avail and now it restarts everytime i get to "Starting Windows" (getting worse..?). I do not own an installation disc as it came factory installed, but i don't know if thats the issue. It very may well be a virus, and i was wondering if there is any chance of recovery. thanks in advance.
