I cannot install a program that requires my computer to be 64 bit. I get an error message that says it is not a 64 bit system. When I look at my CPU information it says it is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+. What gives here? I am rumming XP SP3 Windows Media edition All updates are current.

I must be missing something!!! Thanks for any help.

You have a 32 bit OS installed. If you want to run 64 bit programs you need a 64 bit OS

That's okay - that's what these forums are for. No problem.
