I'm kind of a newbie but I just installed Ubuntu as dual-boot on my computer and my wireless card is not detected on it. It works with Windows and is a Broadcom NetLink btw(I think that's the name anyway). Any help would be great.

Hi,
I know this link talks about Dell Mini, but I've used it on my Dell Inspiron broadcom with Ubuntu 10.10 http://www.ubuntumini.com/2010/10/broadcom-wireless-driver-fix-in.html

Similarly, though this also says Dell Mini I used it on my Dell with Ubuntu 10.04 http://www.ubuntumini.com/2009/11/broadcom-wireless-driver-fix-in-karmic.html

In each case don't forget the re-boot. Try these simple fixes first I suggest.

Richard.
