Screen all black?

one day I deleted the file name "Searches" and then when I restart the computer and type the password it got all black and there are no icons..... what should I do? plss help me....
I have no an installation cd.....

What does that mean? What EXACTLY did you delete and from where?

I delete something that are related to the hard drive and then when I boot the screen got all black and no icons.. T_T
please help me.......

try to run your pc on safe mode then try to restore on earlier date, hope it helps
