Hi I have a fairly new VGN-FW480J Vaio laptop. It's blue screened me.
In safe mode I ran: sfc /scannow found corrupt files but unable to fix. it then says: "Details in th CBS.Log ....
What do I do next?

Thanks for any help!

You're not saying what computer problem you're having.

The computer keeps crashing, giving me the "blue screen" with everything I try.
I think I can get to command prompt - but what then?

Download BlueScreenView:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply

I cannot download to the mis-behaving laptop, as it's crashing.
And, I cannot get it to boot up from a cd - I tried that earlier today.

I cannot get it to boot up from a cd

What kind of CD and what happens?

Safe mode crashes. Tried Vista cd & one with a burned copy od a memory test. Neither would work.
Right now I'm in command promt - but I don't know what to "command".
