Howdy! I've got a computer with RAID, two 1.5TB drives set up RAID 1, and have redirecting Malware going on (and ad audio playing at intermittent times). Had CA live when it got infected; I've run Malwarebytes, F-Prot, checked for unusual files on system, ran a number of different scanners, none found anything. Ran Microsoft's OneCare Safety Scanner; it found five serious errors, but could not fix them. Any other time I would pull the drives and scan them on an external computer, which is not really much fun with a raid array...

Work around for redirects is to right click links in searches, and open in new window or tab (works for Google, at least, in Chrome and in IE8).

Next step: ran OneCare Scanner in safe mode; safe mode scan found five issues, still couldn't fix. Issues reported as Java related. Uninstalled Java, restarted; problems still occurring. Downloaded google-recommended Spyware doctor, ran quick scan; found more issues, fixed, but still has redirect and ad play problems. Rebooted into safe mode, started full Spyware doctor scan...

Checked results of spyware doctor run in safe mode; showed issues found and corrected but problems continue. Reinstalled Java, uninstalled spyware doctor and started Fsecure AV scan... BD_REM_TOOL_CONSOLE.EXE couldn’t be cleaned by F-Secure.

Tried MS Malicious Software tool in safe mode. Windows Defender in safe mode, (won't run in regular modes). Neither Microsoft tool (malicious remover or defender) found anything in safe mode. Nor did bitware, panda cloud, panda
Command line or updated malwarebytes. Ran hijackthis to get a process log file to submit. Started eset scanner, left running. Will check tomorrow on it.

Here's the Hijackthis log:
