Hi, not sure if this is in the right section...

My email, a Hotmail adress, continues to get hi-jacked and multiple bad emails get sent out. I've scanned with AVG and Malwarebytes and both come up clean. Is it in the E-mail itself?

What can I do to make this stop? I've had this email for over ten years now and don't wish to get a new one.

I am having the same problem.

I have tried to cancel my hotmail account but am unable to do so.
I believe someone/something has cracked my account and activates it after it is canceled.
I have deleted all my contacts from that account except one which is a yahoo account of my own, so I know when spam is being sent.
The Hotmail "help" isn't much help.

I guess I could just delete the yahoo address from the account and forget about it but I hate to allow this to go on from my (former) account.

Is this on my computer? Is it a stolen account?

I'll watch here for any insights.
