Ok, I have a problem with found new hardware pop ups when I start the computer. I have a Toshiba satelite p4 laptop windows xp. Three times every time I start the computer the notifications pop up. one says it is a imaging device and the other two say unknown device. How do I get this annoying thing to stop?

1) Have you recently installed or connected a new device?
2) Look in device manager - any errors?
3) Any other anomalies with the system?
4) Try system restore - go back to a point just before the wizard began popping up.

Do you have a scanner connected via a USB port?

If so, is it left on, or do you only turn it on when you use it?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
