Cannot find the reason for all the icons shaking simultaneously on the home screen in the ipad manual.

If you press the home button do the icons stop shaking?

If you touch and hold on any icon, all the icons will start shaking (indicating they can be moved around, or dragged on top of one another to make a folder).

And like Grinler said, pressing the home button should stop the shaking and the icons will be set in place.
